I’m posting about my friends Hylgard and Charlien Lourens, parents of two. I’ve done a couple of shoots for them in the past, here is their last shoot. In February this year I met new born, Nicolien Lourens, she has grown a couple of inches now and got a bubbling personality with the new inches. I’m so glad we got to do this shoot, do yourself a favour and go see how much Nicolien has grown in just 5 months, the saying They grow up so quickly is there for a reason. In the first couple of years of your child’s life it is important to capture them as much as you can.
For the shoot Charlien and I decided to do a afternoon lunch in their garden on the farm. It was a family shoot with grandmothers Linda and Roelien and grandpa Willem (if you ask me, they don’t look like grandparents at all) and last but not least, a busy little girly called Simone ;) I had so much fun capturing these moments and hope that I will have many more memories with the Lourens family. I struggled a bit choosing the photos for the blog – there were a lot more I wanted to post and I apologize for uploading so many at once, but I HAD TOO – I just love these shots. Enjoy!
