Fielies & Melissa {Wedding} Part 1

I dont know if I’ve said this before, but Fielies & Melissa were my shyest couple ever, but its really cute and I got so many great shots – sometimes shyness just works out great. I did their engagement shoot in August this year on their cattle farm in Hectorspruit, if you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out -> here!

They tied the knot at Fielies’ parents house in Kaapmuiden – I would love to do my wedding at a house too. If you’ve never experienced a home wedding before, you have my sympathy! It is probably the most relaxing wedding I’ve been to…EVER! And not only that, the scenery was amazing, we could see all the farms in the Kaapmuiden area and beyond, over looking the Baberton mountains, there was a light breeze, so it wasn’t too hot and of course the food was amazing, done by my favourite Lowveld catering company, Stoep Cafe!

This first image I captured just before I arrived at the venue where Melissa & Fielies were getting dressed. It is a privilege to live and work in Africa, everytime I see one of these beautiful animals it feels so surreal.
