My trip to Seattle {Travel}

I know I should have posted these sooner, but I always say better late than never, right? Here are some photos of me and the Cabanillas family, Phablo, Adele & Abigail Reese taking a day trip to Seattle. It was exactly what you would expect of Seattle...rainy and cold! But I suppose that adds to the experience, remembering Seattle as a sunny place would not quite give me the satisfaction of being in a place where it rains 6 months in a year. We went to the Farmers market and just walked around. It was pretty darn cold and very wet all over but a great outing. The photos of me were taken by the talented Adele from AbigailReese Photography (yes her business is named after her daughter (and my favourite girl in the world))!

And to make this post a little more special, Adele will be landing at O.R. Tambo tonight. Adele, WELCOME HOME! I know you are only staying a little while but we are so glad to have you back in SA!

When I was in Seattle with Adele, we went for a day trip just driving around and singing in the car. We went to Olympia and drove around till we saw a beautiful Cherry Blossom tree (ok we were actually looking at historical buildings, but the Cherry Blossom tree was WAAAAYYYY prettier). We took Abigail and went for a walk, of course I had my camera there ;) Here is a couple of the shots we got. Abigail is my favourite little girl in the whole world! I love you Abigail :) and I know she also loves me because the day I arrived in Seattle she said: "I love you Rinska!" (I LOVE HOW SHE PRONOUNCES MY NAME) it was, in fact, the first time she said I love you to anyone, that same day she told her mommy that she loved her too :D Her mommy was so proud!

Travel from USA back to SA

YEAH!!! so happy to be back in SA, I get so homesick it drives me nuts!

Even though I love traveling one of the things I like least is flying, so I thought I would show you my flying trip back to SA - I flew from Seattle SEA to New York (duration: 5 hours) and from New York I had to wait 5 hours for my flight back to SA (the flight duration: 15 hours) - can you imagine being in a plane for that long? It seriously sucks. I have a funny story though, just before we landed in SA, me tired and irratated, the guy infront of me turned around, he is a very large man and was sitting right infront of economy class, which means he had a lot of leg room, anywhoo he stands up 20min before we land and turns around facing me, but he's sweating and breathing really hard, so the first thing that pops into my head is that he's either having a heart attack or he wants to throw up...and he's facing me, now I am someone that throws up when I see someone looking like they want to throw up! So I ask the guy (almost yelling) SIR, are you Okay?, he tells me he's fine, but it looks like he's going to fall down any second and he's slightly bending over. I dont want him to throw up because my bag with my laptop is under the seat in front of me and I dont want to be sick, so as he's leaning forward again and looking seriously ill I shout; DO YOU NEED A BAG? and I grab the sick bag infront of me and hand it to him...

He comes up, and says (breathing hard); No thank you, I'm just trying to put on my shoes. Oh, I said. O.K. <--- this is me feeling like a complete idiot! Every one on the plane just stared at me (blush), seriously, WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?

Anywhoo, the rest of the trip in Seattle was amazing! I came back home with a clear head and some great ideas for my business. I will be posting a lot in the coming weeks so come and visit as often as you like ;) Thank you for your patience, I will start to answer all my emails asap and get back to all enquiries :)<
