Fielies & Melissa {Wedding} Part 2

Their day just kept on getting better. We went over to Fielies farm to do the Bride&Groom photos and came accross this beautiful dam wall (okay, I was probably the only one that thought it was stunning, but, non the less, a photographer knows best, right?) And as if it isn't enough, I thought that everything there was beautiful, the pack house, the road and the stunning landscapes that surrounded the farm.

Part 2 of this lovely wedding. It was such a beautiful day. I also got a chance to shoot at Irene Dairy Farm again, I seriously love that place. If you know of places in PTA or Joburg, similar to Irene Dairy Farm please let me know :) would love some new shooting grounds. So excited to post these photos, enjoy!

Lyle & Lindi’s Booth!

For their booth Lindi wanted fairy lights, you will see from their wedding post that the venue had lights everywhere, it matched the theme so well. First I'm going to add my favourite photo of the booth...This was a very spontanious shot, Thinus and X are only friends, so I tried my matchmaking skills and asked them to kiss for me :) When they kissed I got butterflies in my tummy, such an awesome moment.

I've been so busy that I haven't even realized that my previous post was the 100th blog post! YEAH! So today I'm celebrating my 101th blog post. I will strive to post as much as I can, although it is proving difficult with my work load, but better late than never.

So it is great pleasure that post number 101 should be about Lyle & Lindi, I loved their wedding, they got married at Likweti (previously known as K'shani), just opposite of the Kruger International airport. Likweti is an African paradise, with rhino's and antelope walking freely within the estate. If you are visiting South Africa for the FIFA World Cup and your going to Nelspruit, you might want to stay over at Likweti - you will have a great African experience. Plus its close to the Kruger National Park (Numbi Gate).

Sjoei, feels like ages since I last blogged! So glad to be back home with my dog Rambo and my family, I had an amazing time in Austria and have so much to blog that it's not even funny. If you bare with me, you might be lucky enough to see two blogs per day, now, I'm not promising anything...but lets hope :)

Hendrik & Michelle, friends of mine, got married in Potchefstroom on Friday, 30 April at the Feather Hill Spa. Their engagement session can be viewed here. The week was extremely busy, as I had been in Mpumalanga for nearly 2 weeks, I went from Malelane all the way to Potchefstroom and the next day returned to Nelspruit for Lyle and Lindi's wedding...that is coming up next - the day after that I had to return to Gauteng to finish up some work, covering about 1500km in 2 days. Brutal, but well worth the distance. What a wedding! Let me introduce to you Mr. and Mrs. de Beer! You guys looked amazing on your wedding day and I'm so glad I got to be apart of it. The booth will be up shortly.

Giulio and Rene, highschool sweethearts, perfect match and beautiful couple.

WOW! what do you say about a couple that takes in rain as a blessing and when it's cold, warms up the day by enjoying their day with friends and family, complaining only about how short the day is. Things like this is what makes it all worth while! Rene stood with Giulio in the rain, just to get awesome pictures, she did not once complain - that is rare with brides - they are always concerned about dresses or hair, but Rene is not a normal bride. Not once did the rain get her down, in fact, I think it might have encouraged her to be more playfull :)

When things like this happen, it's really good to see what a couples' response is to the situation, it shows how they will treat problems in life, I think Giulio and Rene is going to take each problem as a challenge and show that they are too strong to be brought down, together they are AWESOME!

The second part of this stunning day, look how stunning the decor looked at night. Excellent job guys. The Ridiculously Awesome Booth was also amazing. Everyone was such good sports. First up - The Crew on the day (well everyone that was left) and of course I'm not on here, guess where I am ;)
