On the 13th of February I shot John & Leonie wedding, at Lombardy Estate in Pretoria. It was a small beautiful ceremony with close friends and family. Here are some of the shots I got of the couple. Leonie you and John make a beautiful couple, I wish you all the best in your journey ahead.

Before I start this post I want to say: Michelle, happy birthday! I hope that you have a great day and year.
Hendrik is one of my best friends for high school. He is getting married to Michelle, whom I only met the other day at the shoot, but heard a lot about, the day Hendrik met her, he phoned and told me he met the girl of his dreams…seriously! But they did not see each other for a year after they met. And then one day they ran into each other and the rest is history :) She is so beautiful from the inside and out, you know and Hendrik knows he’s the luckiest man on earth. Why I’m friends vir Hendrik; when he phones you cannot answer without smiling because you know he’s gonna give you a tappit surname/nickname, example; “hallo rensie van der merwe” or “hallo poepies” – I hope thats not my nickname! If you are drinking coke —> he’ll make you laugh so hard that it comes out of your nose :D He always cheers you up, no matter how bad you feel – you even feel good when coke comes out of your nose. He reminds me of Chandler from friends – yes he’s very sarcastic and, he always keeps in touch with his friends!

Giulio and Rene are from the lowveld, we did their shoot at the Botanical Gardens in Nelspruit. These two were so shy when we started but when as we got to the end of the shoot they really started having fun, they are both so down to earth :) Giulio & Rene are getting married in in April at Umbhaba Lodge in Hazyview. I’ve taken a couple of weddings in Hazyview and really just love it, they have stunning venues in that area.

Corli’s mother, Ria, joined in for the shoot, it was all girls and yes we had so much fun. Kaitlyne decided that she also wants to be a photographer :) She was extremely skilled, everytime she took a photo (with the film camera) she showed me the end result on the back of the camera – it was so sweet. Kaitlyne was also very co-operative, so much so that whenever I asked her to do something she did it, no questions asked. I remember that from our fist shoot too, the one on the chair – she just woke up and stared at me and I asked her to smile – such an angel.

I’ve known Corli since high school and even photographed her family before. Corli started her Elements of Style business this year. She is a International Qualified Professional Image Consultant / Fashion Stylist / Personal Shopper… and Make-up Artist (WOW) and I forgot, mother of little miss Kaitlyne (some new photos coming asap). We are all visual in the fact that we want to see how stylish someone is before we decide if we would like them to teach us what to wear and how to wear it, well no trouble there. Corli has the sophisticated style of Jacki O with a little extra Oh Yeah ;) and apart from that she is warm and friendly and so sweet.
